The swearing in ceremony was something else. It truly is different on the other side of the podium.  It took a lot for my voice not to shake. Here's to not mucking up.

So let me get this straight, there have been several attacks, all on nobles and no one seems to think it might have anything to do with the Longbottom Murders? I mean really, Regulus, Morag and now Shelly not to mention the Princess from France all attacked. I say someone has declared war on the nobility.

Granted I could be going off the cuff but it might bear actual looking at. What are we waiting for? An attack on the King?

I wish I were still in Greece. Or maybe I just miss the thrill of working in the field. I don't know how much longer I'm going to be able to handle having a desk job. Sure I get a couple good mysteries but what fun is that if they can be solved in a library?

My little brother is going off to fight in the war and while I'm proud of him for taking a stand and setting an example,  he still could die over there.  Make me wonder if we really should be involved with the war over there. Do we have a right to dictate our views on another culture?

Mostly I think I'm bored. only my duty to the family keeps me here. Odd that I have no ties to the country that gave me life,

I can't believe that woman would have the nerve to but in such lies about my family. I'd think about revenge but wouldn't that make me at the same level as she is? Hopefully once this wedding stuff is over she'll find better subjects to write about.

As for Greece, Charlie and I haven't done anything scandalous other than appreciate Grecian culture and natural resources.

So when is this dinner going to happen? Charlie and I are headed to Greece soon so unless you're going to wait until we get back it's got to happen soon people.

So I need to do something about this flat. It looks very spartan and while I tend to be a minimalist this is bordering on the pathetic. I really should have brought more of my things back from Egypt. At least then I would have more colour around here. I swear the white walls are making me a little batty. Wonder if the Landlord would notice a couple of colour spells?

Maybe I should have Ginny over and see what she thinks, woman's touch and all. No chance I'll let mum have her way with place or I'll seem like a bloody ponce.

It's official, I'm bored. It's probably too much to ask that the Goblins always challenge me but really? The mirror only had some minor charms and hexes. Mum is thrilled to have me back but I find myself really missing Egypt and exploring more of the tombs. Just made me feel more alive! Guess it's just a case of getting used to being back
